Dr. Ashutosh Mishra
Country Director, Vitamin Angels India, Senior Regional Technical Director, Asia
Dr. Ashutosh Mishra is a trained medical doctor with expertise in public health and epidemiology. With over two decades of experience, he has led the design, implementation, and evaluation of large-scale health and nutrition programs aimed at improving outcomes for mothers and children.
Previously, he was associated with leading global public health organizations, including the Research Triangle Institute International, Clinton Health Access Initiative, and EngenderHealth, where he has worked towards rolling out interventions to reduce morbidity and mortality among hard-to-reach and vulnerable populations. In his current role at Vitamin Angels, Dr. Mishra provides strategic leadership for regional and India programs, fostering impactful partnerships and ensuring alignment with organizational goals to deliver measurable, lasting change.

Animesh Rai
Health Systems Strengthening Lead
Animesh Rai is the Health Systems Strengthening Lead – India at Vitamin Angels. He joined Vitamin Angels in August 2022. A seasoned healthcare management professional with over 15 years of experience, Animesh brings deep expertise in strengthening health systems through large-scale government and donor-funded initiatives. His work spans for-profit and not-for-profit social enterprises, where he has played key roles in implementation, operations, and quality improvement, health systems research, monitoring and evaluation, and policy advocacy in public health.
Before joining Vitamin Angels, he had worked with the Association for the Prevention of Blindness, RTI International, EngenderHealth, Columbia Global Centers and the National Health Mission, Gujarat, contributing to transformative public health programs across India.

Gurpartap Randhawa
Micronutrient Grant Program Lead
Gurpartap Randhawa joined Vitamin Angels in India in 2019, and currently leads the Micronutrient Grant Program at Vitamin Angels India. In this role, he supports the implementation of nutrition programs in collaboration with NGO and government partners, with a focus on underserved communities across India. Over the years, he has contributed to the development and scaling of the micronutrient grant program, working across multiple states and coordinating with stakeholders at various levels. He also manages all the supply chain operations for Vitamin Angels India.
Prior to joining Vitamin Angels, Gurpratap worked with Al Jazeera Steel Products Co. SAOG in Oman, working on supply chain operations across the Gulf region. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Amity University and has further completed specialisation in Business Administration & Supply Chain Management from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne.

Priyanshu Sharma
Learning Solutions and SBC Lead
Priyanshu is a public health professional with over 12 years of experience in planning and implementing health and nutrition programs across India. Over these years, he has worked with various organizations and state governments across multiple states (Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh) in India. He holds bachelors in pharmacy and masters in health management from IIHMR University, Jaipur, India.
Priyanshu brings deep expertise in designing community-based interventions and generating behavioral insights using human-centered design methods to develop impactful Social and Behavior Change (SBC) strategies, particularly in the areas of Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition. His work spans the development and rollout of comprehensive SBC plans, strengthening capacity building frameworks for various government departments, and the introduction of community engagement approaches aimed at driving behavior change at the community level.

Ajaz Lone
M&E Specialist
Ajaz Lone brings 15+ years of experience in monitoring & evaluation, impact assessments, and data systems across livelihoods, climate change, gender, human rights, public health, and social inclusion. He has trained NGO and government partners in M&E, introduced mobile-based data tools, and contributed to research publications.
Ajaz has a Master’s degree in Economics from Kashmir University and has completed the ‘Leadership Accelerator Programme – Building Future Social Leaders’ fellowship from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore.

Mohit Verma
Learning Solutions and SBC Officer
Mohit Verma is Learning Solutions and SBC Officer at Vitamin Angels India, leading SBC interventions and community engagement while strengthening learning initiatives. With 9+ years in public health and government partnerships, he has worked on maternal and child health, immunization, family planning, nutrition, and HIV prevention, previously with UP-TSU. Mohit holds an MBA in Health & Hospital Management and a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy.

Priyanka Vichare
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Priyanka Vichare is a global health professional dedicated to advancing health equity through inclusive, community-centered solutions. She has over a decade of experience working across India and other low- and middle-income countries, leading initiatives in program design, digital health innovation, and monitoring and evaluation. Her work with NGOs, government agencies, and global donors has delivered measurable impact, from scaling digital health platforms and strengthening data systems to building frontline capacity through targeted training programs. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health.

Gaurav Chauhan
Network Coordinator
Gaurav Chauhan is a trained social worker with over 20 years of experience working in the health sector. Before joining Vitamin Angels in India in 2018, Gaurav has been associated with FHI 360, Population Council, Strategic Alliance Management Services, eVIN, Saksham – GFATM R-7, Mumbai District AIDS Control Society, and ‘DISHA’ Yuva Gramin Vikas Sanstha.

Roseline Joseph
Network Coordinator
Roseline Joseph is a seasoned social worker with more than 28 years of experience dedicated to supporting women and children through both non-profit organizations and the government health sector. She has served as a director and consultant for HIV/AIDS initiatives and acted as the State Resource Person for Tuberculosis (TB) in Tamil Nadu State, India. Her expertise includes overseeing large-scale projects funded by governments and donors. She was also a member of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Government of Puducherry (India). Since November 2019, Roseline has been part of the team at Vitamin Angels India, where she currently oversees program coordination across seven Indian states.

Alice Kamei
State Program Manager, Nagaland
Alice Kamei, a social worker from Nagaland with 12+ years in the sector, joined Vitamin Angels in August 2022 to strengthen government partnerships for vitamin A supplementation and deworming. She previously worked with PATH on oxygen ecosystem capacity building, coordinated NFHS surveys in Nagaland, and contributed to national surveys like Ease of Living and Swachh Survekshan. Alice holds a Master’s in Social Work (MGCSW, Nagaland) and a Citizen Journalism certificate (IGNOU-IIVET).

Prateek Tiwari
Project coordinator-Project AMMA
Prateek Tiwari, Project Coordinator at Vitamin Angels India since June 2024, leads stakeholder coordination, project management, and government liaison. With experience across multiple states, he has implemented CSR-supported projects with GAIL, NTPC, P&G, and Mondelez, focusing on eye care, nutrition, and NCD prevention. He holds a Master’s in Social Work.

Matsunginla
Project Coordinator, Nagaland
Matsunginla has been the Project Coordinator for Nagaland at Vitamin Angels since July 2024. With 9+ years in public health, she specializes in health systems strengthening, project management, and government collaborations. She has worked with CADEF, FHI 360, I-TECH, and the Public Health Engineering Department, and holds a Master’s in Social Work from North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), Dimapur.

Indrani Sharma
Manager – Administration
Indrani Sharma joined Vitamin Angels India in April 2023, overseeing administration and supporting communications. With 20+ years in the development sector, she has worked with social entrepreneurs, networks, and initiatives such as Ashoka Changemakers, Womanity Foundation, 3M-CII Young Innovators, and Complexity University. She holds a PG Diploma in Mass Communication (IIMC, New Delhi) and an MBA from IGNOU.
