Where We Work
Vitamin Angels’ focus is on reaching last mile populations.
These include tribal groups, migrant workers, internally displaced populations, families of daily wage laborers, and populations in remote geographical locations and areas of conflict. To ensure we reach underserved populations at the last mile, we have cultivated a diverse network of 1,800 program partners that include hospitals, health centers, non-government organizations (NGOs), and faith-based groups. These partners understand the local needs and have built trust with existing civil society groups to enable the community’s access to evidence-based nutrition interventions (EBNIs).
Through our partnerships with 13 State and Union Territory governments — Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Mizoram, Manipur, and Puducherry — we have been able to help bridge gaps in nutrition programing.
